Hi all,
Finally I have to admit defeat on this project, but someone might be interested in finishing it off. Car is currently back in one piece, but due to the lock bar needs a cert to get a wof.
Car is as follows:
Maroon GHB580 reg currently on hold
Always been garaged
Circa 125,000 k's previously owned by a mechanic
Good compression on all cylinders 150 psi when last checked
Good interior other than the rear back panels which would be better recovered
Exterior in fair condition has had a respray but has a fair few small dings as can be expected on a car of this age.
Work I have completed:
Converted to N/A PS and hicas (top speed) lock bar
New wiring specialties loom, can be converted to suit series 2 injectors with an additional plug in loom.
Coolant bypass completed
AIV delete
EGR delete
WG solenoid delete
Vacuum lines changed to silicone
New silicone boost hoses
Turbosmart Eboost
New plugs
Second hand warranted AFM
Injectors cleaned and flowed (I don't have the read out)
New CTS
New O2 sensors
New PCVs and all new lines
Resleeved clutch M/C and new steel piston
Greddy SMIC
HKS SSQV IV BOV's
Kakimoto Cat back exhaust (stainless)
New cowl panels
New Battery
Twin simota pod intakes
"STILLEN" (not sure if this is genuine or not) nose panel
17" rims
Lowered
Cross drilled and slotted brakes with red painted callipers
Fibreglass spoiler
Tinted
Red stitch leather gear and handbrake boots
Dash lift fixed (it's not perfect but it's not bad)
HKS turbo timer
Period accurate 90's sony head unit with display that plays the little race car graphics
After market pedals
Nismo 300 kph speedo
Also available by negotiation:
- mostly complete vg30dett engine checked and standard bore. I was at one stage going to do a big single conversion.
- Nismo clear side markers
- Red stitch Nismo gear knob
As you can see there is a fair bit of gear that has been thrown at this chasing what at the time turned out to be an air leak, then a haddit AFM, then a non-genuine AFM causing it to run haywire.
Basically I have committed to doing some earthworks under my house and have to move this on. It will need to be trailered or driven at your risk. Advertised as is where is. I took a long time searching this one out as it was one of the better ones.
I'm looking for $5,000 which would not cover the money that's gone into in parts let alone what I paid for it.
My loss your gain.
Have taken it for a WOF today and failed on indicators (the hazard light is a bit sticky), PS "lumpy" when turning to right (believe this still just needs a bleed), and the lock bar.
Please contact me if of interest as will be throwing up on trade me today.
Cheers,
Dan
