|
|
Hi all,
I'm going to be buying some things from Z1 in the not too distant future, so I'll also take my turn organising a group buy at the same time. It was probably inevitable since I buy parts for a living!
For newer club members, here's where to shop : http://www.z1motorsports.com/
Orders : Usual format, please post a link to what you want on this thread, and I'll be in touch by PM. Remember to specify any options as they're listed on the Z1 site. At this time I'm thinking small to medium sized items, but if you're after something bigger then let me know and we can look at the options.
Timescale :
Last Order Date - Monday 6th September
Payments To be Received By - Wednesday 8th September
Going to aim for shipping from USA by Friday 10th September
Delivery : I can have parts available for collection from either Christchurch (Hornby), Auckland (Wiri) or Rotorua (Lynmore), or alternatively will send them out to you from the location closest to keep costs as low as possible.
Payment : An initial payment will be required to cover the items, freight and GST (12.5% currently payable on imports for those who haven't done this before). I'll do my best to get this as accurate as possibe for each person to reduce the chances of having anything extra to pay when the parts arrive. If you want a rough figure to budget on in your head at the moment, then double the USD price. Initial payment will need to be paid before the paymant date set, or your order stays in USA. No exceptions, sorry
Tech Help : More advice for newer members - feel free to ask any "Will this be suitable for..." questions on this thread. There's plenty of Zed tech-savvy people here who will be able answer your question. Also keep Glenn (Mungyz) in mind if you need somebody to fit your shiny new parts to your baby
That only leaves the gratuitious sexual image inspired by Paulson's previous Z1 group-buy

Hmmm, not sure, but I can quickly photoshop her out again if you think it looks better

You should've put her up the front so she looks like a midget. Kinky.

Hey,
Would I be able to grab one of these?
TwinZ Design Z32 Type II Rear Bumper
$774.00

EDIT: Just saw you wanted to keep it to small - medium size items sorry. If that changes let me know, because I'm definitely keen to get one of the bumpers. _________________

No worries Marty. I'm not sure if the midget stripper will get through customs though
Nice - I was eyeing this myself then saw they're only making for the 2+0 Let me speak to Z1 Kirk - I get the feeling from reading elsewhere there were long waiting times on these, manufacturing not able to keep up with demand and all. I didn't plan on shipping big stuff, but it doesn't make a huge difference - will ask the questions and see if it's available mate.

Have edited original post with cut-off dates.
Deliberately haven't asked for any payment yet from anybody as still waiting on Z1 to confirm availability. As soon as they do, I'll give you a shout. Just don't want to take money off anybody if I can't actually get your parts for you!!

I think the twinZdesign rear bumper was discussed quite intensively on 3zc and theres far more demand than supply, or so I think. Probably the best thing you can do in terms of appearance next to 99spec bumper and tailights. _________________ As mechanically minded as a 5 year old girl.... |

Could you ask them if the hoses supplied now are new hoses that don't have the "sweating" problem. If they can't confirm could you change my order to OEM hoses .. thanks |

Yeah the guy who makes them lives a Peru, I remember seeing a thread there of a picture of a pretty large crate full of them. I think he was looking at a crate to Australia as well, but haven't really check 3ZC in a while. _________________

Just spoke to Z1 on the phone and this might just be a possibility if you're still keen Kirk. They have some coming in and one isn't currently pre-ordered. Have PM'd you. |

Just a reminder everyone - if you leave it until the last order date, then you may not be able to get your item sent with this GB if they don't have it in stock. One part I'm ordering had a few weeks lead time.
If money's an issue, I haven't taken any payments from anybody yet, but the initial payment is just going to be enough to cover the cost of the parts + GST. Freight I'll worry about later.
Appreciated if you can let me know if you're even just thinking about getting something so I've got a rough idea what we're looking at. I've had a few orders on the thread and a few more on PM, but if that look like all then I might bring the date forward a bit.
Cheers,
