hey guys my ptu has finally called it quits, the engine just wont start getting it opened and fix would cost close to 500 which i dont have.
i cant seem to find a second hand one for a resonable price.
if anyone was a spare one lying around, for a resonable price ill take it, need to get the z running again so my brother can use it to get to work (he wreaked his bmw) i dont mind him using it since im moving to ozzy next week (ill pick up a second generation ptu from there)
so yea if anyone could help i will be forever thankful.

Do yourself a favour and buy a PTU from an R32 with the plugs. A bit of soldering and your PTU problems will be forever forgotten. _________________ When in doubt................C4! |

No problems with the second gen PTU but you'll need to part with a fair bit more folding stuff than a second hand skyline version. I'm sure someone could help out with the soldering, where are you located. _________________ When in doubt................C4! |

| If you're soldering adverse, or don't have an iron you can use Spade terminals instead, just get the smallest size. You also have to use tape instead of the plastic insulators as they're too bulky. Get them from Dick Smith for $5 a pack. |

Wow that is cheap. I think I paid about $80 for my skyline PTU many moons ago.
Davo, I can do the soldering for you if you get a PTU with the plugs. Just bring the car around with a few beers. Shouldn't take more than an hour. _________________ When in doubt................C4! |
