Yeah, after 40 seconds I spotted it. I've got some non turbo heads with worthless valves here. If you offer something you might get lucky.

Thanks, but I have the heads from the motor that ran it's bearing ... one of the Camshaft journals was .003" under size and damaged so it is a fair bet where it ran in the heads is stuffed!!

My blocks all stripped down now. Any tips on the casting removal? I've got minimal experience with dye grinders. I was thinking about using a dremel too as its what I have access to.

A poor dremel isn't really up for such abuse. It'll probably nibble away at the task for maybe an hour, ~ then spontanous combustion!

I built a special attachment for doing this job, it's an extension that fits in to a decent sized rotary grinding device & then has a tungsten carbide dooflicky on it Twisted Evil

So a dremel wouldn't be the best thing to use? I guess I could go buy an air grinder or borrow one.

Im certain Nigel revels in such nightmarish undertakings Cool Happier than a pig in pooh. Laughing

I see you've gutted the interior as well. Has any planning seap to that area?

Always thought you had 5 dial/hole style wheels? Are the AVS ones a recent addition?
(Ive had a newish AVS set in my garage for years, but missing a rear 18x9.5 which I'd sell my soul for Sad )

All is looking good; so when do you think she'll be ready?
