Basically, the window switch can't handle rain
They took the VTEC switch out in the 80's, because drivers wouldn't turn it off at low RPM and it caused problems - I know of a drag racing integra that still ran VTEC at 900hp/2000nm!!! _________________ My kit car is not a 300ZX, but it does use a 300ZX steering column - does that count? |

When the presenter asked him how many Honda parts there were in the car, he admitted the badge on the back of the car _________________ You have two choices in life:

Yes, alot of the USA hondas are really like that
I know this one, built and run by Ronnie Lim, used the factory 1.8 block, factory 1.8 heads with working vtec, and factory gearbox, although the gearboxes wouldn't last. The body was at least 3/4 still there (might have had the front cut off and converted to tubeframe), but I dare say there would be not much else left that would be standard anything. _________________ My kit car is not a 300ZX, but it does use a 300ZX steering column - does that count? |

Well, at least their accelerator pedals aren't stuck in WOT! Though we Z owners should be used to gas pedals stuck in WOT _________________ As mechanically minded as a 5 year old girl.... |

the real reason why there is a big recall is cause they need to de-tune the cars more so instead of bending space and time when you hit v-tak, your just bend time so you can still see the dinosaurs as you v-tak dow the road |
